REGISTRATION

• USA Rugby utilizes a registration platform called RugbyXplorer (RX). If you are a returning member, you should be able to use your current RX access credentials to login to your RX account to access or "link to"/"add" your sons/daughters to register them. If you are new to the club, you will need to set up a profile first and then register each son and/or daughter.

• Player Age-Verification Step. Each registered player will be expected to provide proof of age documentation (Birth Cert/other government issued documentation). When the player has registered, their listed registration email and USAR ID will be used to send a unique verification link. That link can be clicked and followed through to upload relevant documentation. Once verified the player’s profile in RX will reflect as “cleared”. This is a one-time process, and it stays with player through Youth & HS Rugby playing career.

• Register as a member of Tempe Rugby Club by clicking on the button located in the upper righthand corner or the link below on or after 9/1.

• AGE GRADES - Be sure to select the right age-grade (U8-U19), gender (boys, girls, coed), and format (tackle, touch), as appropriate. Your athlete's age grade is based upon his/her age as of SEPT 1 this year. For example, if Dylan is “UNDER 12” as of this 9/1/25, s/he is eligible for the U12 age grade. All members must compete in their natural age-grade. Any opportunity for a member to "play-up" or "play-down" an age grade must be requested, reviewed, and approved in advance by the Youth Program Director.

• FEES - Be sure to pay your club dues, which will help us cover our overhead for the Fall and Spring season. Rugby is arguably one of the least expensive sports available – Tempe has only raised it dues once since 2014. Youth members can pay in full ($120) or in two-installments ($60 each). HS members can pay in full ($200), in two installments ($100 each), or in three installments ($100, $50, $50). The LeagueApp host charges a small processing fee above these totals. 

• MULTIPLE CHILD DISCOUNT - Families that register more than one child may request a 20% discount for each child after the first full registration.

Money will never be a reason our sons and/or daughters can't play rugby. If you have financial challenges and the available payment plans and discount don't help, please contact the Youth Program Director to discuss options. We will do our best leave no son/daughter behind.
